gözleme a thin piece of multi-layer flat bread. Usually it is served hot with melted Kaşar cheese in it and you can add tomatoes, spam-like meat, and other things in it. Kantinas are located in every department building. The architecture department has a pretty good one that serves more lunch food than the other ones. Don’t go to the physic’s building, their selections are not that great and not that good. Çarsı is a good place to go for a variety of food. My favorite would be the Kebab one with the orange signs. Before you order they give you free bread, spread, and salad. Pretty awesome. The bigger restaurants there usually serve breakfast too!
You must try the fish shack right outside of Çarsı and right next to the şok supermarket. They have good fish sandwiches, but not your regular ones. It might smell a little fishy but its different and good.
