Kannabahar Kizartma Soslu (Cauliflower fried with sauce)
Ingredients
- Garlic (2 teaspoon/pressed)
- tomato sauce (1/2 cup)
- lemon (1/juiced)
- flour (1/2 cup)
- parsley (1/2 bunch/chopped)
- Cauliflower (1 floret)
Cauliflower Preparation
- Clean and cut up the cauliflower to little florets
- Steam or boil until softened
- Drain out water
- Pat in dry flour mixed with salt for a batter
- fry in oil till golden brown, place over paper towel to remove excessive oil

Sauce
- Oil the pan and add garlic and a pinch of salt
- Add 1 cup of water, tomato sauce, and lemon juice into the pan
- Simmer at low heat till hot, then remove from stove
- Add in the fried cauliflower, toss, don’t stir, to get it evenly coated with sauce
- sprinkle parsley on top
Serve warm with yogurt. A great dish in the summer when paired with cold yogurt. The lemon and the parsley adds a freshness to the dish.
